Life is NOT a Competition
I was online earlier today, catching up on e-mail, sending out a myriad of “congrats” and “that’s great” comments to friends who have been doing really fantastic things lately.
I also noticed that I received several e-mails saying similar things to me.
How different this way of living is than what we are told the “grown up world” is like as school children. There is room in this world for every single one of us to do what we want and to be our personal best.
In fact, this is how the world will improve. Life is NOT a competition — stop acting separately as if your actions don’t affect others. We are all part of the whole and we will only be whole when we work together cooperatively and non-competitively.
