Do Life Right was created in 2005 by Lisa Cottrell-Bentley to help inspire people to be the best they could be through healthy living and mindful parenting. In October 2006, we incorporated Do Life Right to be a business and we created the Mission Statement: “Empowering all people to reach their full potential in life”. In August 2007, after many requests to do so, Lisa added the blog feature to the site so that all new content could be readily accessible and in an easy to find format. In April 2009, Do Life Right, Inc. expanded into the publishing world. Continuing its mission, DLR publishes books featuring realistic homeschoolers of today.

Lisa continues to offer one on one e-mail counseling services for people striving to live a vegan lifestyle and/or an Unschooling lifestyle. Please fill out the Contact Form for more information.

Lisa lives with her husband Greg, two daughters Zoe and Teagan, and five indoor cats in southern Arizona on “Ten Quiet Acres in the Desert”. She is available for interviews, in-person presentations on a variety of topics (including veganism, Unschooling, Radical Unschooling, publishing, writing, and more), and loves to make new friends on Facebook.
