See “How to: Make Nifty Book Boxes for Our Triwizard Tournament Task 3” for the first part of this topic.

We made two puzzles for Task 3 of our Tri-Wizard Tournament: a crossword puzzle and a cypher. The cypher gave directions to the Champions of what they were supposed to do in Task 3. The crossword puzzle was part of what they were to find. We used Puzzle-Maker.com to make our crossword puzzle; every other program we tried was either too difficult to use, cost an excessive amount of money, or wrote the word “SAMPLE” all over the page making the puzzle useless. We enlarged our final puzzle to fit the page. We filled in a couple of key letters for clues that were slightly more difficult. These were all items the champions had to find at a local park.
