Tucson Botanical Garden’s Prehistoric Dig

We recently checked out the Prehistoric Dig event at the Tucson Botanical Gardens. It is a very nice garden and my family enjoys the different special exhibits the garden displays. Here are a few photographs of our recent visit. Our quick review: It is a very nice (but small) garden and the prehistoric displays are scattered throughout the entire place. The prehistoric plants were particularly fun to see. If you live in the area, it’s worth a visit. They are open late on Thursdays throughout the summer and that makes for a much more enjoyable time since it is significantly cooler than during the day.

I’ve also included a photo of a dinosaur from Tucson’s T-Rex Museum that the museum displayed at the University of Arizona’s Solstice event on June 21st.
