It’s the action, not the fruit of the action, that’s important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there’ll be any fruit. But that doesn’t mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result. — Gandhi

Meat Free Mondays

Most people aren’t the “cold turkey” type.  We don’t like quitting our bad habits all at once.  This makes the transition from a S.A.D. (standard American diet) to a healthy vegan diet easy in the grand scheme of getting rid of unhealthy habits — it doesn’t have to happen all at once.  Every vegan meal you eat makes you and the planet healthier.

Why not start with one vegan meal a week, transition to one day a week, and work your way toward a healthier version of yourself?

Not up for even that much good health?

Then check out the Meat Free Mondays website for more information about how to make your Mondays meat-free.  This site encourages people to be meat free (not even vegan) for only one day per week — easy peasy!  Isn’t your life worth thinking about this baby step?
